The mission of the Jefferson and Saline County Emergency Management Agency is to protect lives, property, and critical infrastructure through comprehensive planning, preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation. We are committed to serving our communities with professionalism, integrity, and innovation by leveraging advanced technologies, including unmanned aircraft systems (UAS/drone operations) and reliable emergency radio communications.
Through the integration of aerial intelligence, interoperable communications, and collaborative partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies, we provide timely situational awareness, coordinate effective emergency response, support disaster recovery, and enhance public safety.
