A request has been filed for the purpose of a facility expansion in the Agriculture Residential 2 (AGR-2) District. Regulations Article 5, Section 5.06.03, Regulations Section 5.04 and Comprehensive Plan Chapter 5. A public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission on October 8, 2026, at 8:00 PM in the District Court room (top floor) Jefferson County Courthouse, (enter through the west door and if you need to use the elevator contact the Zoning Administrator’s office at least 24 hours prior to the hearing), at which time you may appear if you so desire, either in person, by agent or attorney, in opposition to or in support of this request.
A public hearing will be held in the Jefferson County Courthouse with the County Board of Commissioners on October 20, 2026, at 9:15 am. Official notice of the County Board hearing will be published with the Fairbury Journal-News.
